# License key update

## Context

The license key you are using for the LiveDesign Connector for Pipeline Pilot will soon expire, or already has.

## Prerequisites

You have a valid license key for the LiveDesign Connector for Pipeline Pilot from a file we provided you. If you do not have this key, please ask us by [sending an email](mailto:support@discngine.com) to our support mailbox.

You have a Pipeline Pilot account with administrator rights.

## Process

1. Open the Pipeline Pilot server administration page
2. Go to **Setup > Global Properties** in the left pane
3. Select the **Discngine/Discngine LiveDesign Connector** package
4. Update the **LicenseKey** global property with the value from the new file we sent you
