# R-Groups columns not rendered

When upgrading the LiveDesign Connector for Spotfire from a version lower than 4.3.57 to a version greater than 4.4.0, the RX (SAR) columns imported into Spotfire from LiveDesign R-group decomposition columns will not be rendered properly in visualizations of previously existing documents.

## Details

If a template was created with the Connector version 4.3.57 or earlier, and some visualizations were using R-group decomposition columns (e.g. displayed in a Table Plot, used as axis or as label in a Scatter Plot), the R-group images are not rendered after an upgrade. You might see the following error messages "Not supported content type" or "The value could not be rendered".

This is due to a breaking change introduced to retrieve the raw structure of the R-groups and get rid of the need to be authenticated to LiveDesign to render them. The content-type of these columns changed from "image/discngine-livedesign-url" to "chemical/x-daylight-smiles". As a consequence, the renderer "Discngine LiveDesign Image" used previously is not appropriate anymore.

## Resolution

For each visualization and axes where a RX (SAR) column is used, change the renderer used to **Discngine Molecule Renderer**.
