# LiveDesign Connector for Spotfire

The Schrödinger LiveDesign® Connector for Spotfire® is a set of tools allowing seamless integration between Spotfire and LiveDesign. It contains 3 main modules:

- The **LiveDesign DataSource by Discngine**: a Spotfire extension used as backend to import LiveReports into Spotfire
- The **LiveDesign Connector**: a Spotfire panel used to interact with LiveDesign from Spotfire, and create template designed for the next module
- The **Spotfire Connector Gadget**: a LiveDesign gadget used to benefit from Spotfire visualization capacities into LiveDesign
