SWAPP Permissions
To allow fine control of the actions a user can perform, the SWAPP uses a system of permissions. Three different permissions exist: SWAPP_ADD, SWAPP_EDIT, SWAPP_DELETE. These permissions are set on the Pipeline Pilot end. To control these permissions, on the Pipeline Pilot Administration Portal, go to Security > Permissions. Alternatively, a group Discngine/SWAPP/Administrators is available and encompasses all above permissions. To control which users belong to this group, go to Security > Groups on the Pipeline Pilot Administration Portal.

| SWAPP_ADD | Ability to register new protocols in the SWAPP |
| SWAPP_EDIT | Ability to edit protocols already registered in the SWAPP |
| SWAPP_DELETE | Ability to remove protocols previously registered in the SWAPP |
If you plan on using the SWAPP and modifying its menu, make sure you have the correct permissions.
