# Use Pipeline Pilot Data Functions

You can insert Pipeline Pilot data functions into a Spotfire document through the same ways as native data functions (see [official documentation - How to Use a Data Function](https://docs.tibco.com/pub/sfire-analyst/latest/doc/html/en-US/TIB_sfire-analyst_UsersGuide/index.htm?#t=df%2Fdf_how_to_use_a_predefined_data_function.htm)):

- From library (f(x) flyout or Files and data flyout)
- As a data transformation
