The Design and Design from Template modes are only available to users with the Assay Designer role.
Design Mode
This documentation provides all the information you need to create a new run in Design Mode.

Design from Template Mode
The Design from Template mode is very similar to Design Mode.
Key differences:
- When creating a run, choose the
Design from Templatemode. - Select an existing template as a starting point.
- All information will be pre-filled from the template.
- You can modify any information as described in the
Design Modedocumentation. - You can close or publish the run as explained in the documentation.
