Plate Mapping (Execution Mode)

In this step, you define how plates are organized. Plate names can be renamed manually or via a file.

Control and Dose Layouts

From the run template, and for every plate, some information is defined:

• The type of wells (Control, Reference, Sample), from one or more control layouts
• Optionally, the doses for the reference wells, from one or more dose layouts

See and Update a Single Layout

You can view the applied layout by hovering over the layout name.

If there is a change compared to the run template, you can update a control and a dose layout for a plate. For instructions, see How To: See and Update a Control and Dose Layout.

Rename Plates

In the plate mapping report, plate names are freely editable. You cannot:

• Use special characters in plate names
• Have duplicate plate names
