#12106 A site can be retired and non-selectable
When a site is non-selectable, it is displayed in the lists of values in other applications but it cannot be selected. This allows a site to be used as a parent for other sites.
When a site is retired, it is not displayed in the lists of values in other applications. This allows a site to be hidden from the users. If a site is retired, its children are also hidden from the users.
Improvements
#12583 Remove uniqueness of the public uri field for controlled vocabularies
The public URI were unique for all controlled vocabulary values. Now, public URIs can be reused for any vocabulary or vocabulary item, so that the same ontology terms can be used in different vocabularies.

#12419 Slashes in vocabularies raise errors
Previously, saving a vocabulary with a special character could lead to an error and the impossibility to use the affected controlled vocabulary in all the applications that use it.
Now, you can fill in what you want in your vocabularies and use them where you want.

#12079 Improve error message when input barcode does not exist in the inventory using the UIF workflow
When using the Update Inventory from File workflow with an unknown source barcode, the error message was misleading and mentioned the destination barcode instead of the source barcode. Now, the error message has been corrected to avoid confusion.
#12267 When a batch is invalidated, it is not visible in the contents of the container
Previously, the samples of a vial or a plate with an invalid batch were not displayed on the Details page and on the Pending Plate/Vial edition page.
Now, the samples are visible with an indication that the batch is invalid on the tabular view and the plate viewer.
#12541 Ambiguous and bad display of annotation in Sample advanced search
- The full path of a vocabulary entry is now displayed in annotation search filters
- The display of the Sample advanced search is improved for 150% scaling screens

New Features
#12091 Improve Assay Home page and run details
The Assay Home Page has been completely redesigned, and its speed has been improved. You can filter your runs by many criteria and have easy access to your ongoing work.
The creation of a run has been rebuilt and is now on a modal page.
Once you access a run, you are now directly sent to the Run Details page. On this page, you can:
- Navigate to any step of your run
- Perform run actions (save a run as a template, copy, delete, or invalidate a run)
- Update run details (description, campaign, etc.)
Improvements
#11520 Rework the Well Information/Experimental Conditions steps and add a type of WI/ECD (number, text, controlled vocabulary)
Well Information has been merged with Experimental Conditions, and the functionality to add them has been entirely reworked to improve user experience.
Experimental Conditions can now have a datatype associated, allowing you to define the expected values among Text, Number, and Controlled Vocabulary. They can also be updated at any time in your run, so you can fill them out whenever you want, unless the experimental condition has been used: in a normalization, as an aggregation parameter...

#11913 Bug on normalizations using a hidden well type
When using the execution mode with a template run, normalizations using a hidden well type were either not calculated or could run into errors.
Now, normalizations in execution mode can be computed even if they make use of hidden well types.
Desupported features
#12443 Deletion of the Autopilot mode
The Autopilot mode has been removed from the application. The existing runs using this mode have been reassigned with the "Execution Mode" by default. Contact the Discngine Support if you need to automate your run analysis.

When depublishing a run, the aggregated data and the corresponding output consolidation data are now deleted as they should.
Assay Catalog
New Features
#12104 and #12585 Discrete values for an assay results/condition types
When designing the assay result/condition types, some discrete values can be added to limit the results/conditions inserted when they will be linked to experimental results.
Discrete values can be numbers, text or entries of a controlled vocabulary, depending on the assay result type data type.
Improvements
#12537 Add permissions to access publication workflow and administration pages
Previously, all users had access to all pages in the left panel: Assays, Assay Set, Publication workflow and Administration.
However, for some users, access to Publication Workflow and Administration pages is irrelevant, even in readonly mode.
Now:
Users who do not have the right to request the publication of an assay will never have any tasks in the 'My Submissions' page. Users who do not have one of the following permissions do not have access to 'Publication Workflow' in the left panel.

#12444 The same attribute can be added multiple times to a group of attributes
The application now prevents multiple additions of the same attribute to a group of attributes.
#12414 Ignoring changes for result and condition types
It was previously possible to create a result and/or condition type with an already used name or short name but nothing was happening and the data was not registered.
Now, a warning is displayed and it is not possible to use an already used name or short name.
When saving a result and/or condition type, there was no redirect. Now, you are redirected to the list page of all the result and condition types.
#12454 When consulting publication requests, clicking on "See Assay" leads to several inconsistent behaviors
Button display and edition mode rules were reconfigured in the assay details page to avoid bugs.
#12425 When first creating an Assay Template, the description is not saved
When creating an Assay Template, the description is now saved.
#12506 Error when too many controlled vocabularies and groups when saving an assay
When having an Assay Template containing a large amount of groups of controlled vocabulary, the assay can now be saved.
#12456 Duplicates in owners list
When having a user in two groups containing the role 'CATALOG_CAN_OWN_ASSAY', the user was listed twice in the catalog when selecting an owner for an assay. Now, the user is only listed once.
#12413 Improve UX of creating R&C template button creation from an assay
Create Result/Condition Type Template button is always displayed and if there are no results or conditions added, a warning message is displayed.
#12415 Better group handling
Several behaviors regarding groups have been fixed/improved:
- It is now impossible to create groups with the same name
- Warning messages are displayed in empty groups and in templates containing empty groups.
These empty groups can be used in templates and have a uuid. They can be linked to result/condition types in assays, but will not be visible in the assay form - It is now the name of the custom group in the template that can be selected to link result/condition types in assays
- The order of attributes in a group and the reordering has a consistent behavior
- The name of the page used to create attributes has been renamed 'Attribute' instead of 'Annotation'
#12507 Roles are applied at the Assay Set level as they are for assays
The same rights to see assays are applied to the Assay Sets. Users need to have the right to see draft and retired assays to be able to see them in Assay Sets.
#12455 Pending approvals are all listed twice
Now, each request is only listed once in the pending approvals list.
#12381 Common group attributes not correctly displayed at the Assay Set level
- The common group summary of an Assay Set has been reworked: retired groups/attributes are not displayed anymore, only the common groups are displayed, the attribute name is now always displayed.
- Some display improvements were done in the Assay Set page when adding/deleting assays to/from an Assay Set.
- Now, it is not possible to add multiple times the same single attribute to an Assay Template.
#12515 Issue on the single attributes output of getAssay endpoint when having multiple times the same object_id (value in Reference Data)
The getAssay endpoint returned object values from both Sample and Catalog when they had the same identifiers. A filter has been added to Catalog to avoid this problem, and only the attributes of the Assay are returned by the endpoint.
#12230 Escaped characters when displaying some read only fields in the Assay Catalog
Target fields and values in reorder attributes group and template were escaped. Now, special characters are clearly visible instead of their escaped code.
#12560 Dynamic Form Error in an Assay Template when too many attributes in a group
No matter how many attributes are in a group, the template is displayed properly.
#12584 Protocol URL length is too short
No matter the length of the url, it is saved without error.
#12578 Assay Template Attributes take the value of another assay with the same template when saving it
Values of the right assay are saved and displayed.
