New Features
#12867 - Experimental Condition patterns
On the Experimental Condition page, you can now select several plates and apply this selection to the rest of your plates for the selected Experimental Condition. The patterns are also inherited in Design from Template and in Execution runs.
#12880 - New 'Object' parameter type for normalizations
A new parameter type for normalizations has been added and gives you the possibility to select several values among:
- Pattern index
- Plate
- Reference dose
- Run
- Well position
- Well type
- Your experimental conditions
The selected values are then available for use in your normalization.
Improvements
#12932 - New Assay Workflow
The status for runs that were not meant to be published was unclear. The workflow has been changed and allows you to choose between two actions at the Sample Analysis step:
- Lock the run, meaning the analysis is finished and you do not want to publish it.
- Publish it. Here, nothing changes; you will be able to select a publisher at the next step to publish your run data.
On the Assay homepage, the 'Locked' runs are now displayed in green, like the 'Published' runs, since they are considered finished.
-
Lock/Unlock: Only possible if the run is not closed, published, or saved as a template.
-
Close: You can close a run if it is locked and not published. Once a run is closed, you cannot publish it anymore. You can revert a close action by reopening it; in this case, the run will be locked. Reopening a run cannot be performed if the run is a template and has a child run.
-
Publish: Redirects to the publisher selection to publish your run data. Once the run is published, you cannot close it. You can revert a publish action by unpublishing it, but this action cannot be performed if the run is a template and has a child run.
-
Save as template: It is possible to save a run as a template if it has the status Closed or Published.
-
All the runs that were at the Select Publisher step and were saved as a template are now updated to the status Closed.
-
All the runs that were at the Select Publisher step and were not saved as a template are now updated to the status Locked.
Bugs resolved
#12418 Fix related to aggregations
A bug causing an issue with aggregations when a revert was made on a copied run has been fixed.
#12967 Fix related to Experimental Conditions used in Aggregations
A bug occurring when an Experimental Condition with a name containing more than 30 characters was added as an aggregation parameter has been solved.
Known bugs
General
#12720 Lists of values break some functionalities when the source vocabulary is too big. → Annotations (Assay), Assay Templates (Assay Catalog)
Reference Data
#12412 When displaying Site details, in specific conditions, the Parent location displays an ID instead of the location name
#12407 Error when creating a site with a name longer than 50 characters
#12405 On the Well Type page, after creating a new type, the field "Last Updated By" contains "APEX_PUBLIC_USER" instead of your username
