In the Mashup mode, when closing the current Spotfire document using the Spotfire menu, Spotfire becomes blank. It can also happen when opening a new document using the Spotfire menu.

Details

This behavior is due to the fact that the Mashup Single Sign-On (SSO) session becomes invalid when closing the document or opening a new one. As a result, Spotfire cannot reload the document and the iframe containing Spotfire becomes blank.

Resolution

There is no direct solution to this issue, as Mashup mode is designed this way: the application included in the Mashup is responsible for managing the Spotfire document lifecycle. It is therefore recommended that you avoid closing the document or opening a new one using the Spotfire menu when using the Mashup mode.
For instance, if you are using the SWAPP application, you must use the SWAPP menu to manipulate documents.
