The Discngine Client Automation panel loads by default a web application or page as defined in the "BaseURL" Spotfire preference which is set during installation.
Several options are available under Discngine > Web panel in Analyst and Discngine > Web panel [Beta] in Web Player (since version 6 of the Connector) to open the Discngine Client Automation panel and load this URL. Their usage depends of the Spotfire context:
- Discngine > Web panel > New document: To open the panel in an empty document with the default page loaded. It is the only way to open the panel if there is no document open.
- Discngine > Web panel > Show panel: To open the panel in the current document with the lastest opened page or the default one loaded.
- Discngine > Web panel > Go to home page (Analyst only): To reload the default URL in the panel in the current document.
