What is Discngine Admin Center?
Discngine Admin Center is a web-based administration platform that serves as your organization's central hub for managing user access and applications within the Discngine ecosystem. It provides a unified interface for managing user accounts, permissions, and application access across all Discngine products and services available to your organization.
Key Capabilities
- Centralized User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights from a single interface
- Application Access Control: View and manage which applications are available to your organization and users
- License Monitoring: Track license usage across your organization to optimize resource allocation
- Group Management: Organize users into groups for efficient permission and license management
- Self-Service Access: Enable users to view their access rights and manage their profiles independently
How It Works
The platform serves two main user groups within your organization:
- Organization Administrators: Business administrators who manage users, groups, applications, and licenses within your organization
- End Users: Individual users who need to view their access rights, manage their profile, and access their assigned applications
Discngine Admin Center integrates with your organization's identity provider (such as Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, or other OpenID Connect-compliant systems) to provide seamless single sign-on (SSO) capabilities. This ensures that user authentication aligns with your organization's existing security policies.

Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
How can I access the application?
- Ensure you have an email account in a domain authorized by your organization
- Receive an invitation or be added by an organization administrator
- Log in via the URL provided by your administrator
- Use single sign-on (SSO) if configured by your organization, or set up a password
Authentication and Access
Why am I redirected to Microsoft (or another login page) during login?
Your organization uses an identity provider (such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, etc.) for authentication. This automatic redirection is based on your email domain and enables single sign-on with your organization's existing credentials.
I can't log in, what should I do?
Check that:
- Your email belongs to your organization's authorized domain
- Your account is not disabled
- You're using a supported and recent browser
- Contact your organization administrator if the problem persists
Does my session expire automatically?
Yes, for security reasons, sessions automatically expire after a period of inactivity.
User Management
These questions are relevant for Organization Administrators. See the User Management guide for detailed procedures.
How do I invite a new user?
Navigate to Users and click New User +. Fill in the user's email, name, and assign licenses/groups. See User Management for step-by-step instructions.
A user is not receiving the invitation email
- Verify the email address is correct and belongs to an authorized domain
- Check the user's spam/junk folder
- Verify your organization's email security policy isn't blocking emails from Discngine
- Resend the invitation from the user's edit page
What's the difference between "Disable" and "Delete"?
- Disable: Blocks access but keeps all user data. Can be reactivated later.
- Delete: Permanently removes the user and all their data. This action is irreversible.
Applications
How do I request a new application for my organization?
Contact your Discngine representative to discuss available applications and licensing options. You can also submit a request through support@discngine.com.
An application doesn't work after it's been made available
- Verify that the application URL is correct and accessible
- Try accessing with a different browser
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Check that you have the necessary permissions — contact your organization administrator
- Contact support if the problem persists
Licenses
See the License Management guide for detailed management procedures.
What types of licenses are available?
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Site License | Unlimited access for your entire organization |
| Named User License | Individual license assigned to a specific user (limited quantity) |
| Credit License | Pool of credits shared among users for certain applications |
What happens if we exceed our license limit?
- Warning notifications appear in the administration interface (the license row turns red)
- Existing users continue to function normally
- You may be contacted about license adjustments to ensure continued service
How can I optimize license usage?
- Regularly review active users and their application usage
- Remove access for users who no longer need specific applications
- Use groups to efficiently manage licenses and permissions
- Consider site licenses if you have many users for a particular application
Groups and Roles
See the Group Management guide for detailed procedures.
What's the difference between a group and a role?
- Group: A collection of users with similar access needs (e.g., "Marketing Team"). Created and managed by your organization administrators.
- Role: Predefined permissions within a specific application (e.g., "Administrator", "User"). Defined by the application and cannot be modified.
Can a user belong to multiple groups?
Yes. Their effective permissions are the combination of all permissions from their groups. If the same license is granted through multiple groups, it only counts once toward your license usage.
Troubleshooting

- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Check your internet connection stability
- Close unnecessary browser tabs

I'm getting an "Access denied" error
- Insufficient permissions: Contact your organization administrator to verify your access rights
- Session expired: Log out and log back in
- Temporary issue: Wait a few minutes and try again
- Maintenance in progress: Check for any maintenance notifications
My changes are not being saved
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
